After a few years of absence, children from Belgium again attended the Csiperó week. The De Winkelse Piccolo’s children’s brass and reed band was an interesting entertainment enhanced by the genre rarely to be seen among children group performances.

The Czech performance of folk games was full of heart and music and was justifiably given a big hand. The delegated group „Maly Vizojanek” of 70, had costumes evoking the 16th century and played original, old instruments. Their major aspiration continues to be the reservation of values and traditions and spreading them among the younger generation.

In 2000 'GO' did a colourful costume play on the history of Tallinn to the great delight of the locals as well as the foreign participators demonstrating that songs and dances are not the only channels to be international.
